Bland Motorsports Sets Out on UMP Summernationals Trail Following 'Dream 100'
(CAMPBELLSVILLE, KENTUCKY) Jordan Bland and his #12 Dirt Late Model team traveled to the famed Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Friday and Saturday, June 6-7 for the 14th Annual 'Dream 100.' Jordan timed in 64th fastest of the 122 entrants during qualifying on Friday evening at the "Big E." When the action resumed at Eldora on Saturday night, the Campbellsville, Kentucky native drove his #12 entry to a tenth place finish in his competitive heat race and a sixteenth place performance in the C-Main. Unfortunately for the Bland Motorsports team, their 'Dream 100' aspirations ended in the C-Main and they were forced to watch the $100,000 to win main event from the stands. Following the 'Dream 100,' the Bland Motorsports team will now set their sights on the grueling UMP Summernationals circuit. This year's version of the tour is headlined by 26 races at 26 different tracks in a span of only 31 days. Jordan, who is going to attempt a run at the entire schedule, will kick off the demanding series this week with four events in Kentucky and Indiana.
