MAY 12, 2008 --- The Bland Motorsports team traveled to a pair of familiar Kentucky venues on May 9 and 10, as the #12 team invaded the Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City on Friday and the Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown on Saturday. At the "Pond," Jordan Bland qualified well and later ran fourth in the dash. After starting from the outside of the second row in the $1,500 to win main event, Jordan drove his #12 MasterSbilt by Stuckey entry to a solid sixth place performance behind winner Victor Lee, Dustin Neat, Aaron Hatton, Michael Chilton, and Dustin Linville. On Saturday, the dirt-slinging action quickly turned to Bardstown for the $2,000 to win 'Jerry Rucker Memorial.' Jordan once again put together a great effort during qualifying, which placed him into the dash. Following a sixth place effort in the dash, the Campbellsville, Kentucky driver rolled off from the outside of the third row for the A-Main. Jordan wound up eleventh in the final rundown of the unsanctioned event after suffering engine troubles. MAY 4, 2008 --- Jordan Bland and his #12 Dirt Late Model team invaded the Paducah International Raceway in Paducah, Kentucky on Thursday night, May 1 for a regular weekly show. Jordan suffered problems in his heat race at the southwestern Kentucky facility and later started the A-Main from the eighteenth position. During the course of the feature event at PIR last Thursday, the young Campbellsville, Kentucky driver was able to pass ten cars en route to a solid eighth place performance. APRIL 28, 2008 --- The Bland Motorsports team enjoyed a terrific weekend to close out their month of April! Their doubleheader weekend kicked off on Friday night, April 25 at the legendary Ponderosa Speedway in Junction City, Kentucky. Jordan Bland ran fourth in his heat race to earn the outside seventh row starting spot for the $1,500 to win feature event. During the course of the 30-lap A-Main, Jordan was able to earn Hard Charger honors at the "Pond" by moving his #12 MasterSbilt entry by seven cars en route to a strong seventh place outing.
On Saturday evening, the action turned to the Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, Kentucky, as the O'Reilly Battle of the Bluegrass Dirtcar Series sanctioned the $3,000 to win 'Spring Sizzler.' Jordan won his heat race prior to leading the first seventeen circuits of the 30-lap feature event. With a stout field of Dirt Late Models on hand, the young Campbellsville, Kentucky driver earned a very impressive third place finish in the 'Spring Sizzler' behind winner Mike Marlar and runner-up Victor Lee. APRIL 21, 2008 --- Jordan Bland and his #12 Bland Motorsports team traveled to the state-of-the-art Dirt Track at the Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, North Carolina on April 18-19 for the 3rd Annual 'Colossal 100.' The World of Outlaws Late Model Series sanctioned the weekend festivities at the Charlotte-area venue and a $50,000 top prize was up for grabs. Jordan timed in forty-fifth fastest in WOOLMS qualifying and later finished eighth in his competitive heat race on Friday night, April 18. When the action resumed on Saturday evening, April 19, Jordan passed several cars to finish seventh in his B-Main. Unfortunately for the Campbellsville, Kentucky driver, he was a mere three spots out of a coveted transfer position into the 100-lap main event.
