TOUR (June 29, 2009)
Jordan
Bland and his #12 Dirt Late Model team closed out the ultra-busy
Great Northern Tour with the World of Outlaws Late Model Series
last week with five events in the states of New York and Pennsylvania.
The five races were held on Monday (June 22) at the Can-Am (NY)
Motorsports Park, Tuesday (June 23) at the Canandaigua (NY)
Speedway, Wednesday (June 24) at the Big Diamond (PA) Raceway,
Thursday (June 25) at the Lernerville (PA) Speedway, and Friday-Saturday
(June 26-27) once again at Lernerville.
The Bland Motorsports team started the A-Main on three different
occasions last week, as Jordan was credited for finishing nineteenth
at Can-Am, sixteenth at Canandaigua, and thirteenth in the $10,000
to win show at Lernerville on Thursday. Jordan unfortunately
failed to make the starting grid for the race at Big Diamond
and the $30,000 to win 'Firecracker 100' at Lernerville. Following
the Great Northern Tour, Jordan currently finds himself eleventh
in the latest version of the World of Outlaws Late Model Series

JORDAN ENCOUNTERS ROLLERCOASTER
WEEKEND (June 22,
2009)
The
Bland Motorsports team trekked north of the border over the
weekend to enter a trio of World of Outlaws Late Model Series
shows in Canada. The Ohsweken Speedway (June 18), Autodrome
Drummond (June 20), and Cornwall Motor Speedway (June 21) were
all slated to host $10,000 to win WOOLMS events over the weekend.
However, Autodrome Drummond was forced to cancel their race
on Saturday due to persistent rain showers.
In the weekend opener on Thursday at Ohsweken, Jordan Bland
timed in nineteenth fastest in qualifying and later grabbed
the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat race. After starting
fifteenth on the grid in the $10,000 to win A-Main, Jordan notched
his best finish of the year in World of Outlaws Late Model Series
competition. The young Campbellsville, Kentucky driver worked
his way past eight cars en route to a solid seventh place performance.
On Sunday, the Cornwall Motor Speedway wrapped up the Canadian
portion of the Great Northern Tour with another $10,000 to win
show. Jordan qualified seventeenth fastest, but went for a wild
ride during heat race action. Early in his heat race, Jordan
flipped his #12 entry several times and was eventually transported
to a local hospital. After a thorough examination at the hospital,
he was deemed ok to return to the speedway. Jordan took a series
provisional to gain access into the main event where he drove
his back-up car to a sixteenth place finish. You can view complete

BLAND SLINGS DIRT AT BROWNSTOWN
& BARDSTOWN (June
15, 2009)
Jordan Bland and his #12 Dirt Late Model team traveled to the
Brownstown Speedway in Brownstown, Indiana (June 11) and the
Bluegrass Speedway in Bardstown, Kentucky (June 13) last week
to compete in a pair of races. The UMP DIRTcar Summer Nationals
tour kicked off at Brownstown on Thursday night and a $6,000
top prize was up for grabs. Jordan unfortunately could not advance
into the 40-lap main event after finishing eighth in his heat
race, third in the C-Main, and twelfth in the B-Main.
At Bardstown on Saturday evening, the Battle of the Bluegrass
Dirtcar Series rolled into town and a $3,000 winner's check
was on the line. Jordan ran third in heat race action, which
transferred him directly into the feature event. After starting
ninth on the grid in the A-Main, the young Campbellsville, Kentucky
driver experienced handling problems during the course of the
race and retired in the nineteenth position. You can view complete

Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio on Friday and Saturday, June 5-6
for the 15th Annual 'Dream 100.' The Dirt Late Model extravaganza

experienced mechanical troubles in his primary car during hot
